Still Looking Good
By Paul Boyer | August 31, 2008
Loudoun 98B Black looked good again in day two of the OBGC tournament. We expected the games to be tough and easy, in that order, and we were right. The tough match-up was against MSC MUTINY BLACK. But they didn’t look so tough after the very first minute when Gio scored and put us up 1-0… until the very next minute when they answered, knotting things at 1-1 all through the first half. After switching ends, MSC scored twice quickly, then another Loudoun goal from Gio before they scored again in the 41st minute. There things remained with Loudoun losing to MSC 2-4.
After an hour rest under a shade tree, Loudoun brought the heat to FREESTATE SOCCER ALLIANCE FORCE. If you blinked you missed goals by Gio, Gio, Dawson, Nathan, Nate, Tim, and Michael. Let’s get everybody on the boards! FSAF did score once, shutting out our shutout hopes though. In the end, we added 7 to the season’s GF column. 7-1.
In tomorrow morning’s tournament final we once again cross swords with MSC MUTINY who remain undefeated. Let’s push them over the edge of the ship this time guys!
And get better Cameron!
